Our Doctors

Dr. Soo Kyo Yoon was born in South Korea and grew up in Fairfax, attending Fairfax High School and George Mason University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He went on to obtain a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 2012.

Upon graduation, he served as an active-duty dental officer in US Army, where he had a chance to work under close mentorship from specialists including an oral surgeon, endodontist, prosthodontist, and pediatric dentist. During the time he worked in different private practice settings after separating from the Army, Dr. Yoon developed a vision of opening his own practice where he can freely adhere to his core values; to deliver top-quality dentistry under any circumstances, to provide patient-oriented customer service where patients should never feel they were treated unfairly, to treat everyone with dignity and respect as fellow human beings.

Dr. Yoon truly enjoys the art of dentistry and daily interactions with patients. He is an Invisalign certified provider and ready to serve the community to help achieve a “Better Life” by providing beautiful healthy smiles.

Dr. Jennifer Yoon was born in South Korea, and she spent her childhood growing up in Ecuador, South America. She moved to New York to complete her undergraduate studies, with a major in Biology and a degree in Bachelor of Science. Dr. Jennifer then attended the New York University College of Dentistry where she was awarded her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree.

Dr. Jennifer distinguished herself while in dental school by volunteering in the Program for Survivors of Torture, to help survivors rebuild their lives and have access to safe and compassionate dental care. Dr. Jennifer is very passionate about her profession.

She is active in the community and has volunteered in multiple low-income communities by offering free dental care. She loves to travel around for Continuing Education every year. She currently resides in Bristow with her husband Dr. Soo Kyo, and their two beautiful kids Ryan and Lena. Dr. Jennifer always values family and health the most!

Coming from a family that served in the foreign service, Dr. Daniel Matthews grew up moving around internationally. When they were stateside between assignments, they had a home in Vienna, Virginia. He was fortunate to be able to spend time exploring countries like Australia, China, Pakistan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan throughout his childhood.

He graduated from High school in Oregon but returned to Virginia for his undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise. He then went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree in 2014 at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, where he met his wife, who is also a dentist.

Dr. Matthews is a self-proclaimed dental nerd, always learning as much as he can to expand his skills. He enjoys going to dental conferences to learn new techniques and see what is on the cutting edge of dentistry. Dr. Matthews has focused a lot of his postgraduate training on cosmetic and implant dentistry. He takes great pride in using the latest technology to produce high-quality dentistry, all while keeping the patient as comfortable as possible. His favorite thing to do in dentistry is to give someone their smile back.

Dr. Matthews lives in Herndon with his wife and two children. He likes to spend his free time doing active things like running, biking, and snowboarding.
